TOP 3. What is an Internet browser/ISP?
A browser is a software application used to locate and display web sites. ekeystone.com is designed to work with Microsoft Internet Explorer only, which holds the majority of the internet market. The site does not support other browsers such as Netscape, Mozilla or Firefox.
An ISP is an Internet Service Provider, a company that provides access to the Internet. For a nominal monthly fee, the service provider gives you a username, password, and access phone number. You then use your modem to dial in, logon to the Internet and from there you can view our site, surf the World Wide Web, and send and receive email. The following are different types of ISPs:
  • Cable Modem
A "Cable Modem" is a device that allows high-speed data access to the Internet using a cable TV network. Most cable modems are external devices that connect to the PC through a standard 10Base-T ethernet card and twisted-pair wiring. In North America, cable operators are packaging high-speed data services much like they do basic cable television service. These packages typically cost $40 - $60 per month (slightly higher for business access) for an Internet service package that includes software, unlimited Internet access, specialized content and rental of a cable modem. Unfortunately, you can't walk into your local computer store and purchase a cable modem. Cable modem access is offered in limited areas, so be sure to check with your local cable company or with a national provider like RoadRunner.
  • DSL
Digital Subscriber Line, or DSL, is a technology for bringing high-bandwith connectivity to homes and small businesses over ordinary copper telephone lines. DSL is billed per month, usually for a fixed price, and for the majority of providers, for unlimited usage. The key advantage of DSL over a modem is speed. DSL, on the downstream (downloading), is about 9 - 28 times faster than a modem (512Kbps - 1.544Mbps). A disadvantage to DSL is that your home or business needs to be within 1 - 2 miles of where the service is being offered. DSLReports.com is an excellent resource for finding DSL service in your area.
  • ISDN
ISDN, or Integrated Services Digital Network, is a phone line with one big difference: it's digital. ISDN simply replaces the analog path between you and the exchange with a fully digital service. ISDN lines are about 2 - 3 times faster than a standard modem. ISDN prices run around $200 for installation and then $100 for monthly service.
TOP 4. Can someone else use my eKeystone.com account?
The only way anyone besides yourself can access the site is if you give out your User ID and Password. It is a violation of the Terms & Conditions of eKeystone.com to share your User ID and Password. Someone with your User information could abuse your account information and place orders under your account. If you want other members of your staff to have access, you may set up restricted User ID's or logins for them. No one else sees your account information but Keystone and the Password holder who has access to the account page. Please read our Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions for additional information.
TOP 5. Can my customers use eKeystone.com?
The site was created Keystone jobbers, only Keystone accounts should have passwords and accounts. But eKeystone.com is a great point of sale enabler tool! You can set up another login, as described above, for in-store use only, and allow your customers to look up their own parts, without being able to order them and without them catching a peek of your prices!
TOP 6. Is the Internet really safe and secure for online account access?
Yes. Keystone Automotive is committed to security and has taken steps to ensure that accessing your accounts via the Internet is safe, by implementing state-of-the-art security standards. Additionally, we allow you to select a password of your choosing that will be easy for you to remember and keep secret. This password is used to authenticate you each time you log on to the eKeystone.com system, prior to allowing you to begin viewing your information. The confidentiality of your account is maintained as the data is passed from our host computer to your personal computer in an encrypted format, where your browser then decodes the information for you to view. This prevents the data from being intercepted and/or viewed by an unauthorized third party. Keystone has also installed secure firewalls to ensure that no unauthorized access to our data is permitted. Every effort was made along the way, as the system was designed and developed, to ensure that this system is as secure as possible.
TOP 7. How do I set up multiple users or logins for my store?
For now, you need only to contact us at Keystone and let us know how many users you want to give access and at what levels. We'll do the rest for you!
TOP 8. How do I find a part?
If you are having a problem finding the correct part, ask yourself, what do you already know about the part? If you know the vehicle it goes on, you can use the YMM Car Search. If you know the part number, you can order by part number. You may search for more than one part number by simply placing the part #'s in the search field separated by commas. If you know the name of the part, you can search by common name or vendor specific name. More details are included in the Help! page of this site, your User Guide, or call us at 866-EKEYSTONE (866-353-9786).
TOP 9. How do I order?
You can start an order through a variety of different approaches. There is the Rapid Order by Part # or SKU for when you know what you want and know your vendor codes. You can order at the end of any search like the Accessory, Wheel or Hardparts searches. You can order through the Stock/Price Check or Keyword Search. Further instructions are located in Help! and inside your User Guide.
TOP 10. Why are my checkout details (shipping and payment methods) blank?
If you are having problems viewing some pages on ekeystone.com, you may have a pop-up blocker or ad filtering program installed on your computer. Pop-up blockers are useful in avoiding annoying advertisements but many also block some ekeystone.com features. Please click here for instructions on disabling the pop-up blockers. You may also hold down the CTRL key while clicking the Shipping and Payment methods.
TOP 11. How do I change my password, e-mail address, or retail margins?
To change your password, e-mail address, or retail margins, simply go to Account Info, click on the appropriate link and follow the directions as shown. The instruction in your eKeystone.com User Guide will give you complete details.
TOP 12. What is my Wish List?
A Wish List is a list of part #'s you can use for a quick reference to frequently ordered part #'s or parts that you are not sure that you want to order.
TOP 13. When will my order be delivered? What are my cut-off times?
Your delivery is based on when you submit your order. Providing you place your order before your daily cut off time, your delivery schedule will be the same for online orders as they are for phone orders. (The only exception to this is if you do not receive your orders directly and are on a different delivery schedule. If you have questions, be sure to ask about your deliveries when you are going through the enrollment process!) Your daily cut off time to submit orders is below. Don't wait until the last minute to place your order! This will help facilitate your orders correct delivery.

TOP 14. I placed an order yesterday. Why didn't it get delivered today?
If you did not receive an order that you placed on eKeystone.com, start by checking your order history. Was your order properly submitted? See the following question (Why is my order not showing up in the Order History?) If so, did you meet your delivery minimums? If your delivery minimum was met, was your order submitted before your cutoff time? See cutoff times in previous question (When will my orders be delivered?) Lastly, if you answered 'yes' to all questions above and you had a delivery scheduled, please call a Customer Care Specialist.
TOP 15. Why is my order not showing up in the Order History?
If your order does not appear in your Order History, it has not been submitted. You may need to go to your order basket or Stock/Price Check list and complete the order. Orders are only submitted after you have clicked on the Rapid Checkout (lightning bolt icon) or entered all the required info and clicked 'Process Order'. For more help, please see your User guide or call a Customer Care Specialist.
TOP 16. My prices look incorrect. What should I do?
If your suggested retail prices look incorrect you may need to check your margin settings. Please see the User Guide for instructions on how to set your margins correctly. If your discounted prices do not seem to be correct, contact your sales representative and have them input your line discount. This should correct any pricing problems. If you are a Canadian customer and your prices are not appearing in Canadian dollars, call us at 866-EKEYSTONE (866-353-9786) so that we may assist you. Because there are parts with minimum prices which can be not further discounted, your discount percentage may look incorrect.
TOP 17. Why does eKeystone.com charge customers to order online?
You are not paying to order from Keystone Automotive; the cost is for a business management tool. The monthly fee allows continued development of our electronic catalog. Your basic questions regarding your subscription fee can be answered by our Customer Care department at 866-EKEYSTONE (866-353-9786) or customercare@ekeystone.com. If your question pertains to payments received or other details, please contact Keystone's Accounts Receivable at our main number.
